Family

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Transliteration: Rabbana hablana min azwaajina wa dhuriyyatina qurata A’yunin wajalna lil muttaqina imama

Translation: "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."

(Quran 25:74)

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Transliteration: Rabbir Hum Huma Kama Rabba Yaani Sagheera

Translation: "My Lord, have mercy upon them [my parents] as they brought me up [when I was] small." (Quran 17:24)

Forgiveness

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Transliteration: Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa'fu anni/anna

Translation: Oh Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me/us

أَسْـتَـغْـفِـرُ اللهَ وَ أَ تُـوبُ إِ لَـْيهِ

Transliteration: Astaghfirullah wa atubu ilaih

Translation: I seek forgiveness to Allah and repent towards Him

Gratitude

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّيْ عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

Transliteration: Allahuma a'inni ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibadatika

Translation: "Oh Allah, help me to remember You and thank You and help me worship You in the best manner."

Guidance

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ

Transliteration: Ya muqalib al quloob thabit qalbi ala deenik

Translation: "Oh Turner of Hearts make my heart firm on Your religion."

(Tirmidhi)

Hardships

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

Transliteration: Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilaya min khayrin faqeer

Translation: "My Lord! Truly I am in absolute need of the good You send me."

(Quran 28:24)

Health

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as'aluka al afiyah

Translation: Oh Allah, I ask You for well-being (complete well-being and protection from all forms of harm)

(Tirmidhi)

Hereafter

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan waqina adhaban nar

Translation: "Our Lord! Grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the fire."

(Quran 2:201)

اللهم اني اسالك الجنة

Transliteration: Allahuma inni asaluka al Jannah

Translation: "Oh Allah! I ask you for Paradise."

(Tirmidhi)

اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Allahuma ajirni minan naar

Translation: "Oh Allah! Protect me from Hell fire."

(Tirmidhi)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الشهادۃ

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluk ash-shahadah

Translation: "Oh Allah! I ask you for Matyrdom."

(Bukhari)

اللهم إني أسألك حسن الخاتمة

Transliteration: Allahuma inni as'aluka al husna al khatima

Translation: "Oh Allah! I ask you for a good ending."

Knowledge

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا , وَ رِزْقًا طَيَّبًا , وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً

Translation: "Oh Allah! I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds."

Transliteration: Allahuma inni asaluka ilman nafiya wa rizqan tayiba wa amalan mutaqabalan

(Ibn Majah)

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Translation: "My Lord! Increase me in knowledge."

Transliteration: Rabbi zidni ilma

(Quran 20:114)

Protection

لا إلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لا إلَهَ إلا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمُ ، لا إلَهَ إلا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّموَاتِ وَ رَبُّ الأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمُ

Translation: There is no god but Allah, the Almighty, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne

Transliteration: Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah ul-‘azeem al-haleem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb il-‘arsh il’azeem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb ul-samawaati wa rabb ul-ard wa rabb ul-‘arsh il-kareem
